Discussing the drummer

After having a few group discussions we thought of changing out first choice George Robertson to Fred Deer.

We wanted to make this change as we were thinking of the future as Fred’s timetable matches with the whole group and cast. This meant that we would be able to get more group work and future tasks done more effectively. We also thought that Fred’s personality would match with Molly’s, Felix’s and George meaning that during the non lip sync part of the video it would look like they were actually friends part of a band. In the sense the star image we are trying to create, which is a pop rock boy band that has a close friendship would be more believable.

After giving it more thought and discussing it with our teacher we decided to keep George as the drummer as we will have practise with the whole band to make sure that they are more comfortable with each other and so they could get to know each other well. Keeping George would also be better for the group as in the future we will be needing him for the campaign and as an A1 he would have more time to do this as Fred is in A2 meaning he would have less time to do this.
