Album Artwork Conventions
Album artwork conventions refers to the rules or the normal things that would usually appear at the front
or the back of an album.
At the front of an album artwork you’ll find the name of the artist or band, the album name and in the Uk as a requirement parental advisory should appear on the album cover. For example Lana Del Rey's front album cover has her name in huge font, a picture of her as the main focus, the album name and parental advisory sticker.
Here her record label is trying to sell her as the artists which is why her name is in a huge font and the cover is a photo of her.
For upcoming artists like Jorja Smith her record while push for her album to sell her as an artist meaning that her covers reflect this having pictures of her and then the album name.

However for artists like Kanye he doesn't have to follow these rules or conventions because he is big enough for people to recognise his work without his name on it.

At the back of the album a track list usually appears which is numbered in order, legal information and the barcode.
